New Course Structures: The UWA Future Framework
The tasks of the Interim Boards of Studies are to:
- provide an avenue for faculty input and scrutiny in relation to the new undergraduate courses. (Faculties will have more direct control over postgraduate courses, and will make submissions in respect of these to the Board of Coursework Studies.)
- make recommendations to the Board of Coursework Studies on:
- degree-specific majors for the relevant degree
- embedding the UWA Educational Principles in degree-specific majors
- pre-requisites, co-requisites and related matters
- broadening units
- articulation arrangements
- annual course reports, incorporating performance and quality data
- other matters as referred to the Interim Boards of Studies by the Board of Coursework Studies
